Among the 27 metropolitan areas surveyed during the second quarter, DFW's population growth stood out, with a noticeable 0.5% increase compared to the prior year. The housing-to-population ratio, a pivotal indicator of housing availability in Dallas, TX, for the DFW metro region was found to be below the national average.
